How to install the D1 mounting plate?
No extra drilling required, but you may have to gently file down the dovetail mount to fit in your gun’s dovetail slot.
– 1、Slide your existing rear sight out of the dovetail slot.
– 2、Slide the bottom section of the mount plate into the dovetail slot, center it into the spot, then put the “D1” plate on top.
– 3、Then take the 2 provided head screws, and screw them in.
– 4、Once the “D1” plate has been thread locked and screwed on, you can now place your optic on top, then screw the optic in with the 2 provided torques screws.
– Also apply thread locker to them.
